Here is a session that works on players movement to create space to play forward. It works on vision, awareness and timing and understanding of movement and quick passing.

The last exercise can be used for a 3 in midfield or a Diamond 4 Midfield

Mark is a academy GK coach at Dundee Utd FC of the Scottish Premier League. He is responsible for the coaching and development of goalkeepers from U10 to U17 level.  Previously held a similar position with Falkirk FC.  Goalkeeping coach for the Scottish FA working with the Scotland U15 squad.  He’s also selected goalkeepers for the Scottish FA’s Performance School program and Regional Performance squad.  He will also be a goalkeeping Coach Education Tutor in 2013.  Mark holds the Scottish FA Goalkeeping ‘Advanced’ Licence and Youth Award (now ‘C’ Licence).

Scott Allison  – St Mirren (SPL) Academy

Scott Allison is a professional youth coach currently at Scottish Premier League side St Mirren FC.   He currently holds the UEFA B Licence, SFA Advanced Youth Licence (Level 5) and SFA Advanced Children’s Licence (Level 5).

Scott has previous experience at Glasgow Rangers FC, Livingston FC and Partick Thistle FC and has worked with every elite youth age group from U19 to U11.  He is also a former Scottish FA Senior Football Development Officer/ Coach Education Tutor and last played professionally in the Scottish 3rd Division with East Stirlingshire FC.   Scott believes in developing attractive, attacking, effective football and studies the traditional Dutch and Spanish styles of play.
